Thanks for this one, Arvel. I hadn't heard or read that talk before. I was particuarly surprised by the stuff about pure enjoyment. People outside of science tend to think about science as a monolith rather than a bunch of individual humans. True in Feynman's time and now. However, in Feynman's time it seems that the monolith was seen as misplaced talent and now it seems the monolith is seen as untrustworthy.

Yeah it's spoken of as an institution today but it's not. It's forever amending and adjusting. This text reminds us all of that!
